Summary0000363: https forced with admin setting - however profile is still linked as http
DescriptionI am on 2.3.1296.
When I registered the first profile, my admin profile, I was still using http.
However I switched in admin settings to force SSL for every page.
Friendica seems to remember how the user was registered, now in all postings and even in the settings, the profile and profile pic is still linked in http.

Also this applies to facebook contacts imported before the "force ssl" setting is switched on - I had to reimport all facebook contacts to use the https forwarder.

This seems related to issue # 0000334

[master 9391fc9] bug 0000363 and a couple of other reported ssl link issues

You may need to set your SSL policy to none in the admin panel and immediately set it back to full SSL, and it will update all of the "self" contact links on the site.

There may still be a couple of places we miss, so please open another issue if you find any.

I tried as you said, went to "admin- site" and changed from "Force SSL" to "No SSL Policy", logged out, loggin in, and changed back from "No SSL Policy" to "Force SSL Policy".
Still I get all links to my profile shown as http.

Now also correcting the profile table. This should correct all such links going forward. It will not correct links attached to items posted in the past.

The reason we don't update already posted items is because this operation will take considerable time on a large or older site with a lot of content (potentially several hours) - during which the site will be unavailable.

The only workaround at the moment is

mysqldump
search/replace the dump file
mysqlrestore

OK with the workaround everything is fine.
Can be closed.
